The Quantix Drone Dealer Network

quadcopters for sale near me

The Quantix drone by AeroVironment is a commercial-grade unmanned aerial vehicle. It can collect and analyze data, communicate with a Decision Support System and be compatible with other unmanned systems. Its unique vertical takeoff and landing motion allows it to achieve a greater range than a traditional unmanned aerial vehicle. The drone can cover approximately 40 miles per hour and costs less than a traditional unmanned aerial vehicle.

Draganfly

Quantix Draganfly’s global dealer network consists of professional dealers who offer pre, post, and after-sales support. The company has welcomed dealers from the U.S.A., Canada, and is now looking at interest from Latin America. To better serve different market segments, the company offers several levels of representation. To learn more about the benefits of becoming a dealer, read on.

AeroVironment (a leader in drone commercial and first response drone markets) and Draganfly (a designer of custom software and contract engineer services) understand the Quantix Mapper systems value. Draganfly will expand distribution of its drones by focusing on direct-to-consumer and reseller channels. They also plan to offer drones for civilian and military applications. Draganfly manufactures drones since 1992. The company recently acquired AeroVironment which is a manufacturer of unmanned aircraft systems. The companies hope to expand their cooperation in the coming years as well as their partnership into new sectors.

Aerovironment & Draganfly have signed an exclusive distribution agreement. Draganfly’s drone, the Quantix Mapper, will be sold only by Aerovironment. The deal is a good fit for both companies. It also shows how the major players in drone industry are distinguishing themselves. Patrick Imbasciani (COO Draganfly) explains why the partnership is a good idea. The company will continue to offer contract engineering services to AeroVironment and distribution to customers around the world.

AeroVironment

AeroVironment has developed the Quantix, an unmanned aerial vehicle. The Quantix is a multi-domain robotic systems leader and was designed for farm use. It features a one-meter wingspan, carbon fiber spar reinforcement, vertical takeoff and landing, and a data analytics ecosystem. It can be used to automatically inspect land for signs like crop stress, water issues, or yields. Farm operators don't need to be trained and can use the drone without any prior experience.

The Quantix's vertical takeoff-and-landing system makes it compatible with many unmanned systems. It can fly for up to 45 minutes, covering an area of up to 400 acres. It is compatible with AeroVironment’s Decision Support System as well as other unmanned systems. It takes off vertically, but quickly transitions to horizontal flight in the air, giving it a greater range. AeroVironment claims that the drone can travel 40 miles per hour and more features are planned.

Quantix Recon includes a ruggedized Ground Control Station tablet which can be used by field operators. It comes with one airframe, three batteries, and some spare propellers. It is easier to maintain than the more expensive models because parts can be easily replaced. Quantix Recon is more resistant to damage and therefore less likely to require repair or replacement. The Quantix Recon's camera as well GPS and software are all built into the tablet's operating system. Operators can access them even without an internet link.

FAQ

Is the FAA able to regulate drones?

The FAA oversees all aspects of drone operations, including safety standards, certification requirements, and licensing procedures.

How can I keep drones from my home?

Drones have become increasingly popular for home surveillance. But they also pose a security threat to privacy. If you want drone attacks to be avoided, you can install motion sensors all around your property. These sensors will detect any flying objects that are not authorized.

Are Drones Banned Where?

The FAA has prohibited drones from flying close to airports or stadiums, sporting events and nuclear power plants. They do allow drones to fly at night with GPS technology.

Is it safe for a driver to fly a drone?

Drone flying at high speed is dangerous. Additionally, you may hit pedestrians or animals. Additionally, hitting power lines, trees or buildings could cause damage to your car.

What is the maximum height you can fly a drone with no license?

The FAA doesn't limit how high you can fly your drone. The FAA does require you to register unmanned aircraft systems (UAS), which include the registration number of your model, weight and size, serial numbers, manufacturer's names, date manufactured and other information.

What kind of batteries does a drone use?

The majority of drones use lithium-ion cells. A typical drone runs on between 3 and 6-volts.

Which US states allow drones?

It is legal to operate a drone as a hobby. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), has established guidelines that allow the use of small unmanned aircraft systems (UASs). Before they can be flown, these UASs need to be registered with FAA. Commercial operators can also fly these devices provided certain conditions are met by the FAA.

How To

How to Fly Drones at a Beginning Level

A drone refers to a remote-controlled aircraft designed for aerial photography, surveillance and scientific research. The technology behind drones has been around since World War II. DJI introduced their Phantom series of quadcopters in 2010, but commercial use only began in 2010. There have been many types of drones since then, including beginner-friendly drones like the Parrot AR Drone 2.0 and professional-grade multi-rotor crafts like the DJI Mavic Pro.

There are many methods to fly a Drone, including

  1. Remote control – This is when you attach a device to your hand that allows you to control the drone's flight path. There are two main types, On/Off switches (like radios) and joysticks.
  2. Manual Control - This method uses a smartphone app to remotely control the drone using GPS coordinates. You must keep track of the location where you want the drone to go and follow the instructions from the app.
  3. Autonomous Flight: This means that the drone will take care of all the piloting. It is basically flying autonomously and without human intervention. The drone must be equipped with a camera and sensors that can capture images and data in order to fly autonomously.
  4. Triggered Flight - This method is similar to manual control, except the pilot manually sets up a preprogrammed route, and the drone follows that route until it reaches the endpoint. Once the programmed route is completed, the drone lands automatically and returns back to the base.
  5. Landing Gear: Some drones have landing gear that allows them safely to land in case they lose power or run low on battery.
  6. Goggles - Pilots may wear goggles to shield themselves from flying debris.
  7. Camera – Some drones have cameras, which allow you to take photos or videos from up high.
  8. Obstacles - Some drones can be equipped with obstacle avoidance systems that prevent them from crashing into obstacles.
  9. Speed - Drones can reach speeds up to 40 mph.
  10. Battery Life - Most drones can last between 20 minutes to 3 hours, depending on how much power you're using.
  11. Some drones are capable of traveling up to 30 miles depending upon their make and model.
  12. Power source - Not all drones can use an external power source. Others can run on internal batteries.
  13. Weight - Some drones weigh less than 1 pound, whereas other models weigh up to 4 pounds.
  14. Size - The size of drones varies from small, easily carried devices to more substantial crafts that weigh in excess of 50 pounds.
  15. Price - All drones fall within a specific price range, from high-end models that can cost thousands of dollars to lower-cost options starting at $100.
