How To

Repairing A Drone's Damaged Motor

First, identify the broken part of the motor to repair it. The easiest way to do this is to remove the propeller from the motor shaft. Then, you need to remove any wires connected to the motor and inspect its inner workings. If you see something wrong, then you know what part of the motor you have to fix.

If the motor is in good condition, you shouldn't worry. But if it looks like one of the images below, you will need to replace parts before you can fly again.

Let's say that a motor is bent so that it can no longer turn. The motor will need to be bent back into its original shape. For this purpose, you could use a vice grip to hold the motor and bend it back into shape. After you're done, check your motor for signs of wear.

Once everything is fine, place the propeller onto the motor shaft. Now your drone is ready to fly!
