How To

Repairing A Damaged Motor Of A Drone

To repair a motor damaged, the first step is to identify which part is broken. It is easy to do this by removing the propeller shaft from the motor shaft. Then, you need to remove any wires connected to the motor and inspect its inner workings. If you see something wrong, then you know what part of the motor you have to fix.

If the motor is in good condition, you shouldn't worry. But if it looks like one of the images below, you will need to replace parts before you can fly again.

Imagine that the motor has become bent to the point it will not turn. You will need to bend it back into shape. To hold the engine, use a pair pliers or a vice grip. After you're done, check your motor for signs of wear.

Once everything is in order, attach the propeller to the motor shaft. Your drone is now ready to fly!
